Why is it difficult for third parties to enter the mainstream?
Q. Also, should the system be changed in order to make it easier for third parties to enter? What past Presidents have been elected from third parties? Why? Why is money a necessary part of running for President? What is the history of political parties? Yes, this is for homework, but I have answered the other questions and I cant find an answer to these.

A. The Republicans and Democrats have a Duopoly on our campaign system. They pass laws making it hard for third parties to get onto ballots or into debates. Basically, there is a ton of red-tape and only the political elite bother to get through it all. Its a very restrictive system. Yet, this is what we call Democracy. Hopefully, americans will wake up one day, reject their public education and embrace "real CHange".
