SpanishAdjectivenevada f. (masculine nevado, feminine plural nevadas, masculine plural nevados)
Nounnevada f. (plural nevadas) Singular nevada f. Plural nevadas f. From Wiktionary under the GNU Free Documentation License. Nevada / n ə ˈ v æ d ə / is a state located in the western region of the United States. The capital is Carson City and the largest city is Las Vegas. The state's nickname is Silver State, due to the large number of silver deposits that were discovered and mined there. "Sagebrush State" and "Battle Born State" are its alternative nicknames. In 1864, Nevada became the 36th state to enter the union, and the phrase "Battle Born" on the state flag reflects the state's entry on the Union side during the American Civil War. Its first nonnative settlement was called Mormon Station. Nevada is the seventh-largest state in area, and geographically covers the Mojave Desert in the south to the Great Basin in the north. It is the most arid state in the Union. Approximately 86% of the state's land is owned by the U.S federal government under various jurisdictions both civilian and military. As of 2008, there were about 2.6 million residents, with over 85% of the population residing in the metropolitan areas of Las Vegas and Reno. The state is well known for its easy marriage and divorce proceedings, entertainment, legalized gambling and, in eight out of its 16 counties, legalized active brothels. From Wikipedia under the

I'm 14 years old and have been planning on getting a sentimental tattoo for my dad who passed a little over a year ago. I heard that you can get a tattoo with parental consent if you're 14, but I also heard shops kind of have their own rules for parental consent. If anyone knows of a law there is in Nevada please let me know. Thanks. Asked by Stevie B - Mon Apr 26 20:45:33 2010 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments A. There is no Parental Consent in Nevada... Q. What is the legal age for a child to stay home in Nevada? Please do not give suggestions. You will get a good rating if you give the REAL LAW. Asked by Casey - Fri Jul 11 00:50:16 2008 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments A. In most states, there is no legal age which has been established by statute as to when a child can be left alone. If you believe that a child is being put in danger by being left alone at home, you can contact Children's Protective Services at the Family Independence Agency and make a referral.
