A party is a gathering of people who have been invited by a host for the purposes of socializing, conversation, or recreation. A party will typically feature food and beverages, and often music and dancing as well. Some parties are held in honor of a specific person, day, or event (e.g., a birthday party, a Super Bowl party, or a St. Patrick’s Day party). Parties of this kind are often called celebrations. Q. I don't recall reading a provision in the Constitution of the United States that says political parties are supposed to be running our country. I am a no-party voter. It doesn't say they are required or disallowed, doesn't make them legal or illegal. I guess you could argue it's an extension of freedom of assembly. It wasn't entirely politician's fault, the early American people would label groups of politicians supporting ideas and this started the process of political parties.
