The College Republicans is a national organization for college and university students who support the Republican Party of the United States. The organization is known as an active recruiting tool for the Republican Party and has produced many prominent Republican and conservative activists and introduced more party members to the Republican party than any other organization in the nation. The organizational structure of the College Republicans has changed significantly since its founding in 1892. Originally founded as an organization for the Republican National Committee and later the Young Republican National Federation, the College Republicans now operate as an independent 527 group. Q. has anyone compiled statistics on this? Higher than average? Below average? Tyler, do you have a number? 2%? 5%? What is it? Asked by Gavin Cato - Thu Oct 8 11:33:20 2009 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments A. Another failed rant, the enlistment rate is high enough that even the army is turning thousands of people away, and it is the rich, not the poor, that are overrepresented in the military. Your assumptions are dead WRONG. Answered by unknown - Thu Oct 8 12:27:35 2009 Republicans: did you make your kids pay for their college and car by themselves? Q. I'm just wondering since I hear a lot about how "liberals are so lazy." My entire family is liberal and i've paid for both my cars by myself, and I am currently paying for college by myself too. I never borrow or get money from my parents. So do all Republican parents make their kids work when they are in high school, and make them pay for college and cars by themselves? Since they need to be taught personal responsibility and not to live off others? Q. (I hear Pepperdine has way more republicans than democrats...) Asked by JHCgirl - Tue Mar 16 09:10:00 2010 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. Lots of smug and sanctimonious Republican spawn. My estimation is about 30% Repugnants, 65% oblivious, and 5% die-hard liberals. Remember when the Republicans were the nice people? The pillars of society and culture? The people who sustained the symphony and ballet and art museum? No more I am afraid. Now it has become the party of the selfish, the mean-spirited, the overtly and covertly racist. What a shame - the party that freed the slaves, pushed though the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments, that created the National Park System, that pushed through the G.I. Bill - now the repository of the uncivil and lowest elements of American society. Sorry for the rant - if you ask, P.U. is not for you.
